After the original grip tape on our beloved ramp finally wore out, we did not want to have to purchase a whole new ramp to replace it and started searching for a new non slip surface to cover it with. This tape was the solution! When we ordered this on amazon we were not sure if it would work like we needed it to. The surface of the ramp that we were covering had a smooth plastic finish. I honestly did not think that this tape would stick to that plastic material very well.
However, after months of use and leaving the ramp outside in the weather, it is still super stuck on there and has been even more non slip than the original tape that it came with. In the spring we plan to put this tape on our camper stairs giving them a better grip too!
This was a great purchase for us and definitely gets the LOVE it rating all around. We see so many different uses for this product now that we know how well it works and we are very glad that we found it. One more perk of this tape on the ramp is that with the 80 grit sandpaper like top, it helps keep the dogs nails filed down every time they use it.
